About Taxico

Hunter Valley Taxico has evolved from Singleton Taxi Service, operated by three generations of the same family since 1984, Taxico has been providing an array of transfer services, including: Taxis, Maxi-Taxis, Wheelchair Accessible Taxis, Limousine, Hire Cars and Minibuses.


Our Taxis and Hire Cars operate (to or from) the Singleton LGA, Hunter Valley Wine Region and surrounding Mining areas. Service areas include, (but are NOT limited to) the Hunter Valley Wine Region, Singleton, Singleton Army Base, Lone Pine Barracks, Pokolbin, Rothbury, Lovedale, Huntlee, Broke, Greta and surrounding areas.

On request, we also provide Special Occasion Transfers, restaurants, concerts, wine and vineyard tasting tours. Group bookings are welcome and we can arrange for 11-22 passenger Mini-Buses for transfers to the vineyard areas as well as Airport and Cruise Ship terminals to Maitland, Newcastle, Sydney and Upper Hunter areas.

Hunter Valley Taxico has a variety vehicles, including Sedans, Station Wagons, Maxi-Taxis, Wheel Chair Accessible vehicles and Limousines. Our fleet is fitted out with the latest in satellite tracking and DVD surveillance cameras for driver and passenger safety.

Operation Times


We operate 24 hours 365 days, customers have the convenience of phone bookings or utilising the latest in taxi Smartphone App technology. Transport is provided to Dept of Veterans Affairs DVA, National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS and community as a whole.
